The Belgrade daily newspaper "24 sata" (24 hours) had a front page article about the newly planned Blue Danube supercomputing center. The article was based on an interview that Prof. Aleksandar Bogojevic gave to the journalist Lidija Tomic. The emphasys of the article, and of the wider interview, was on how modern supercomputing resources can be of use to the wider public. Prof. Bogojevic talked about the experience that the Scientfic Computing Laboratory of the Institute of Physics Belgrade has amassed in the past five years of participating in European eInfrastructure projects dealing with the development and use of High Performance Computing resources (most notably the currently active Framework projects PRACE, EGI-Inspire, HP-SEE) . Particular emphasys was put on the practical applications of the newly planned Blue Danube supercomputer within the National Supercomputing and Data Storage Facility.
